Downtown Lemoore to Launch VIP Discount Program to Support Local Businesses and Reward Local Shoppers
There is something special about a downtown district.
It's where communities gather for coffee meetings, lunch dates, holiday events, parades, car shows craft markets, and those unexpected conversations that turn neighbors into friends. Downtowns aren't just collections of businesses—they're the heart of a community. That's exactly why the Downtown Lemoore Merchants Association (DLMA) is launching an exciting new initiative designed to strengthen local commerce while rewarding the people who choose to shop local.
Introducing the Downtown Lemoore VIP Discount Card Program—a new program that connects shoppers with exclusive discounts, special promotions, and seasonal offers from participating downtown businesses. The goal is simple: encourage more people to explore, shop, dine, and experience everything Downtown Lemoore has to offer while helping local businesses thrive.

Celebrating Lemoore: Independence Day, Community Pride, and a City Built on History
There are few places better to celebrate the Fourth of July than right here in Lemoore. This year’s Safe & Sane Block Party promises to be a fun-filled evening of community, patriotism, local businesses, and family-friendly entertainment as residents gather to celebrate both our nation's independence and the city we proudly call home.
What makes this year's celebration even more special is that America is in the midst of celebrating its 250th birthday. For two and a half centuries, generations of Americans have built communities, pursued dreams, and worked together to create something greater than themselves. That same spirit can be found right here in Lemoore, where neighbors still know their neighbors and local businesses continue to support the community that supports them.
The Fourth of July also holds a unique place in Lemoore's history. The City of Lemoore was officially incorporated on July 4, 1900, making Independence Day not only America's birthday celebration but Lemoore's birthday as well. For more than 125 years, our city has grown from its agricultural roots into a thriving community that balances tradition, innovation, and hometown pride. Learn More About The Block Party Here.
Preserving Lemoore's History for Future Generations: The Sarah A. Mooney Museum's Carriage House Restoration Campaign
There are places in every community that quietly stand guard over its history.
They may not always be the busiest buildings in town, and they may not appear in every social media post or tourist brochure, but they serve an important purpose. They preserve the stories that helped shape the community we know today. They protect the memories of generations who built homes, raised families, started businesses, served their country, farmed the land, and contributed to the unique character of the place we call home.
In Lemoore, that place is the Sarah A. Mooney Memorial Museum.
For nearly fifty years, the museum has served as one of Kings County's most valuable historical resources, preserving artifacts, photographs, documents, and stories that help tell the story of Lemoore and the surrounding region. Through changing times, economic shifts, and generations of growth, the museum has remained committed to one simple mission: ensuring that local history remains accessible to everyone.
