Sarah A Mooney Museum

The beautiful Victorian-style house built by Aaron and Sarah Mooney in 1893 was donated to the Lemoore Chamber of Commerce in 1973 by Sarah’s granddaughter to be kept as a Museum in memory of her beloved grandmother.

Sarah A Mooney Museum

The Museum has been in continuous operation since 1974, transporting its visitors back in time to the turn of the century to experience the lifestyle of the early 1900’s --- with its vintage furnishings and artifacts, historical documents, and the histories of our local pioneer families. The Sarah A Mooney museum offers free docent-led tours, school field trips, and hosts various small events. The Museum has been sustained over the past fifty plus years by generous donations from the community.
