Lemoore High Celebrates Historic 125-Year Anniversary - Coming to Downtown Lemoore
Big milestones deserve big celebrations, and 2026 is shaping up to be a memorable year for the Lemoore community. As seniors prepare for graduation and families get ready to celebrate years of hard work and achievement, the Lemoore High School Class of 2026 is preparing to close one chapter and begin another. At the same time, the community will also gather to honor an incredible milestone — the school’s 125th anniversary celebration and all-class reunion taking place in Downtown Lemoore on June 20, 2026.
For generations of students, Lemoore High School has been more than just a campus. Since opening in the early 1900s, it has served as a place where traditions were created, friendships formed, and Tiger pride became part of family history. The school traces its roots back to 1901 and has remained an important part of the community for over a century.
For the Class of 2026, graduation marks years of dedication, school activities, Friday night games, performances, classrooms, and memories that have shaped their high school journey. Seniors will soon walk across the stage and join generations of alumni who proudly call themselves Tigers. Graduation season in Lemoore always brings excitement, but this year carries even greater significance because these graduates will share their milestone year with a historic school anniversary.
Downtown Lemoore to Launch VIP Discount Program to Support Local Businesses and Reward Local Shoppers
There is something special about a downtown district.
It's where communities gather for coffee meetings, lunch dates, holiday events, parades, car shows craft markets, and those unexpected conversations that turn neighbors into friends. Downtowns aren't just collections of businesses—they're the heart of a community. That's exactly why the Downtown Lemoore Merchants Association (DLMA) is launching an exciting new initiative designed to strengthen local commerce while rewarding the people who choose to shop local.
Introducing the Downtown Lemoore VIP Discount Card Program—a new program that connects shoppers with exclusive discounts, special promotions, and seasonal offers from participating downtown businesses. The goal is simple: encourage more people to explore, shop, dine, and experience everything Downtown Lemoore has to offer while helping local businesses thrive.

Celebrating Lemoore: Independence Day, Community Pride, and a City Built on History
There are few places better to celebrate the Fourth of July than right here in Lemoore. This year’s Safe & Sane Block Party promises to be a fun-filled evening of community, patriotism, local businesses, and family-friendly entertainment as residents gather to celebrate both our nation's independence and the city we proudly call home.
What makes this year's celebration even more special is that America is in the midst of celebrating its 250th birthday. For two and a half centuries, generations of Americans have built communities, pursued dreams, and worked together to create something greater than themselves. That same spirit can be found right here in Lemoore, where neighbors still know their neighbors and local businesses continue to support the community that supports them.
The Fourth of July also holds a unique place in Lemoore's history. The City of Lemoore was officially incorporated on July 4, 1900, making Independence Day not only America's birthday celebration but Lemoore's birthday as well. For more than 125 years, our city has grown from its agricultural roots into a thriving community that balances tradition, innovation, and hometown pride. Learn More About The Block Party Here.
