In 2021 the Lemoore Volunteer Fire Department celebrated their 100 year anniversary.

The Lemoore Volunteer Fire Department (LVFD) has a rich history, marked by its strong community ties and dedication to service. In 1924, the LVFD played a key role in the City of Lemoore's cornerstone ceremony for the new City Hall, which also housed the Fire Department at the time. Today at the site of the old fire department (corner of Fox and C Street), you can take a look at the vintage LVFD fire truck and historic memorabilia.
