This mural, painted by Jennifer Butts, depicts many aspects of life in Lemoore that the residents hold dear; including our history, our military, and our culture. While we see many representations on honoring veterans throughout Downtown, this is the only mural that depicts our active military present at the Navel Air Station Lemoore.

NAS Lemoore was established in July 1961. It was built on the site of a former Lemoore Army Air Field and quickly became a key training and operational hub. Today, NAS Lemoore serves as a major training and operational hub for the Pacific Fleet.
